The Dongdian magnetic yoke ring plate project mainly involves large vertical lathe machining and large double gantry machine milling. We changed the original semi-precision machining sequence of the vertical lathe to a combination of multi-hole drilling and vertical lathe machining, improved the cutting tools, and adjusted the machining parameters, achieving an efficiency improvement of nearly 40% in semi-precision machining of a single surface. The project material is a high-strength, low-crack-sensitive steel, with extremely high requirements for machining accuracy and surface quality. The precision technology team controlled the deformation within 2mm by first removing a reasonable amount of material with a multi-hole drill, ensuring high-quality machining of the project and accumulating experience for the machining of similar materials.
