This is a shell weldment product, paired with a top plate, intended for the FLYWHEEL energy storage product used for storing excess electricity in power plants. The product has extremely high requirements for machining accuracy, with a surface roughness requirement of Ra0.8. We achieve this precision using large vertical lathes. Additionally, the product has very strict requirements for the airtightness of the welds. In addition to magnetic particle testing, helium testing is also required. We have customized helium vacuum testing equipment for this specialized inspection to ensure the quality of the welds.
